📚✨ Big Thinking in 6th Grade at AES! ✨📚

Our 6th graders are diving into partner reading and text annotation as they build the skills of strong, thoughtful readers!

As they read together, students are learning to think deeply, work collaboratively, annotate important ideas, and make meaningful connections to the text.

We love watching our students engage with what they read, share their thinking, and discover that reading is so much more than just words on a page!

🧪📊 Science + Math = Learning in Action!

Our sixth graders are putting their math skills to work during OpenSciEd! Students are taking data collected from their science experiments and learning how to plot their data points, analyze results, and look for patterns. 📈🔬

We love seeing cross-curricular learning come to life as students discover that the skills they learn in math have real-world applications in science. ❤️🖤
