AES 2nd graders have been learning about Greek mythology and the goddess of harvest and agriculture, Demeter. To end the Greek mythology unit they enjoyed the harvest of corn which gives us “popcorn”! Thank you to Aunisty Bullard’s mom, Mrs. Leona Walker, for bringing her popcorn machine and treating the 2nd graders!
It’s October and a great way to celebrate is our friend Mrs. Paulette Shields reading aloud!! She shared Miss Smith and the Haunted Library with 2nd grade. We are all smiles when she comes to READ!!❤️ 📚 😊

Our community pep rally was a HUGE success, and we loved seeing so much support for our Pee Wee Red Devils! ❤️🖤
Our boys took the field against the Cedar Ridge Timberwolves and played hard in both games. Although we didn’t come away with the wins, we couldn’t be prouder of the heart, effort, and determination our players showed! These boys continue to make Augusta proud! 👹🏈
