Our sixth graders are putting their math skills to work during OpenSciEd! Students are taking data collected from their science experiments and learning how to plot their data points, analyze results, and look for patterns. 📈🔬
We love seeing cross-curricular learning come to life as students discover that the skills they learn in math have real-world applications in science. ❤️🖤

If you want to have FUN and also relieve stress just blow bubbles! Plus, if you want to throw in a little science …talk about surface tension and evaporation! AES 2nd graders are super bubble blowers! 😄
Mrs Madison’s 2nd graders explored physical science and engineering today by building towers out of cups! This activity was great for team work and problem solving!! How fun second grade!

One of the highlights this week has been our new lunch provider! Our students are loving having more choices at lunchtime. Along with the featured menu entrée each day, students now have additional options to choose from, giving them more variety and a better chance to find something they enjoy.
Happy students, full bellies, and a great start to the year! We’re looking forward to many more wonderful weeks of learning, growing, and making memories together at Augusta School District!
